After looking at my newly created wallpaper "My Bliss Fantasy" ([link]), I thought that sometimes it would be nice to have a more photo-real wallpaper as well. So I went back and reworked it to achieve this piece. As with the other wallpaper, the image used in this piece was taken by Miramb ([link]) of Stock.Xchng. There is less photo manipulation in this piece compared to "My Bliss Fantasy," but I am very happy with the way it turned out. It is simple and elegant (to me, at least). It gives you that very warm-hearted feeling that you get whenever something goes well in your life, yet at the same time it is real enough that you mind cannot make you think the good feeling you have is fake.

Perhaps one day I will be able to take pictures like this, but for now I am limited to photo manipulation. Don't get me wrong; sometimes life here can just make you want to cry, but I don't think I could live in a place like what is depicted in these images. I like the cold winters, harsh falls, non-existant springs, and short summers. I like seeing fields of yellow prairie grass and sagebrush. I like looking outside and seeing deer and antelope grazing nearby. But everyone takes vacations, and this place is certainly a vacation spot for me.
